Macayo’s Depot Cantina has been a Mill Avenue institution for many years. With a recent face lift under the belt Macayo’s is better than ever with a beautiful spacious patio outside and the same Mexican flavor inside. Transport yourself to Baja by stepping in the front door and treating yourself to a sweet and salty margarita or taking few dips into the salsa bowl. If that doesn’t do the trick $2 Dos Equis all day everyday certainly should.
Outside on the amazing patio cool off under the misters and catch up with your favorite teams on one of the many state of the art flat screen TV’s. Cheer on the Sun Devils while enjoying Mexican classics such as the cheesy and crispy chimichangas or stay on the healthy side with the spinach enchiladas. Macayos also boast some of the best tasting tamales this side of the border. The football season catch your favorite coach up close and personal when the one on one post-game interview shows will take place live on Macayos patio. Macayo’s Depot Cantina Happy Hour is also the stuff of legends with the cheapest drinks around and free appetizers in the bar week days from 4-6PM. Yes. You read that correctly, FREE food and cheap drinks.
Just spitting distance from the Light Rail stop on Mill Avenue and Third Street, Macayo’s Depot Cantina is a no brainer for a great mid day escape or a date night with your favorite partner in crime. Do your wallet a favor and purchase a Senor Bob or Cha Cha ceramic glass with you margarita. Not only will your date go home with a reminder of what a great time they had, the next time you visit, you get a dollar off your drink when you refill the glass. You can thank me later.
