Momma always says, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so if you are in the business of listening to your mother, and you should be, head to First Watch. Located on the corner of Breakfast Street and Lunch Road (a.k.a. Washington and 1st St.) in downtown Phoenix, First Watch is serving up hot coffee and classic breakfast, lunch, and brunch favorites.
Opening bright and early at 7 AM seven days a week, First Watch cures what ails your breakfast woes. Blueberry pancakes staked sky high, hot savory or sweet stuffed crepes, omelets, and of course the traditional two egg breakfast with crispy bacon, toast, and yummy potatoes. First Watch has such an extensive breakfast menu with traditional ingredients as well as menu items like the Bacado Omelet with avocado, bacon, jack cheese, and sour cream, you will not even know where to start. Price and portions are unevenly matched with the later being larger so bring your appetite, and your work. First Watch offers free Wi-Fi and complementary newspapers to all guests so you can finish last minute details of your presentation, or catch up on the water cooler talk before a long day at the office.
First Watch also offers a great escape for a quick lunch in the middle of the day. If you skipped the first meal of the day no worries, you can still get French toast at 1 PM as breakfast is served all day. However, the lunch menu will give you a few things to consider as well. The Sandwich section is out of control and they offer several daily specials that are not on the regular menu. All sandwiches come with a tasty side salad, fruit, and French fries. Every order is made fresh from scratch, no microwaves here, and the service is fast. If ever a day when you have a hankering for a hot fresh breakfast or tasty and filling lunch, pop into First Watch, they will not disappoint.
